Below are two routes we are exploring. First we watched for interest on Facebook, then we reviewed the labyrinth locators and reached out to hosts, TLS members or Veriditas trainers to arrange an initial visit. If you feel your labyrinth idea would fit we are happy to talk with you. If you have an idea for another tour, again we are happy to talk with you. If you would like to provide a workshop on one of the routes, we are happy to meet with you.
1. Ontario's Camino: If you are in this destination, have a labyrinth, or know a center (could be a retreat or a beach), interested in dance or activities that support community, health, education or culture send us your posts, photos or ideas. We are researching sites that have been designated as Sacred by the World Pilgrimage Guide. Note: every place is sacred and we are not limited by the guide. Guide to Sacred Sites in Ontario, Starting at Owen Sound, onto Sudbury, ending at Ottawa visit sacred sites on Manitolin Island, learn about sacred dance on the labyrinth, walk through the Migizi Kishkaabikaan forest.
2. Ottawa - begin or end: Susan visited Ottawa in June (link to post). It would be a great spot to end the Camino, tour the Ottawa labyrinths before beginning the next. Note: There is a link to labyrinths around Ottawa on their website
3. Move over Provence: Ontario has lavender, strawberries, beaches, forests and Great Lakes that extend from the hills around Ottawa to the City of Windsor.
